Heat Exchangers Eddy Current Tubing Inspection
Tecnatom has a set of products (hardware and software) integrated to ensure effective, safe and quick Heat Exchangers inspections. Tecnatom inspection system is a technologically advanced solution that allows to inspect large quantities of tubes and precise analysis detecting a wide range of defectology. It supports industry standard eddy current (ET) and remote field (RFT) tubing probes.
COMPONENTS
The inspection system consists of the most advanced equipment in:
  • Eddy current instrument: ETbox2i or ETbox8i
  • Probes type: Bobbin and Bobbin RFT.
  • Option Pusher probe (TPU2)
  • Integrated software environment for control equipments, acquisition, data management and analysis.
ETbox2i or ETbox8i (EC instruments)
ETbox2i is a digital multi-channel and multifrequency portable eddy current instrument for inspection of components in the electricity generation, nuclear and industrial sectors. Now you have the power of a high-end instrument in a compact lightweight package.
Eddy current probes, manufactured by Tecnatom, are used for detect and size defects such freeting, steam erosion, cracking and more along tubes of a large variety of conductive materials ferrous and non-ferrous (stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, all-brass, copper, seacure, among others) present in nuclear power plants, oil refineries, thermal plants, etc.
Push-Puller Probe: TPU2
TPU2 EC Probe Push Puller. Push and pull flexible probe through a tube, being this probe rolled in the device. Its design has mainly taken into account the reliability, the portability, the usability and the conditions under which it’s going to be transported, mounted and used in Industrial areas.  
SOFTWARE (Teddy & SirioNET)
Tecnatom offers a set of integrated software programs to optimize data acquisition for heat exchangers inspections. Software integration improves system communications, inspection rates, and data quality. This set of software includes: Teddy Acquisition, Probe Pusher control Inspection Planning, Analysis, Data Management and Reports.

Supervision and historical information modes.
Data Management: SirioNET
SirioNET is a set of specialized applications to build tubesheet maps, inspection plans, manage analysis results and reports of data from tube bundle inspections as steam generators, condensers, heat exchangers and related components. Two options: SQL server database or local MDB files. It developed to achieve fast, efficient and reliable manage of large volumes of data.
