Tecnatom robotic inspection systems join together our historic NDT experience in nuclear and aeronautical markets with the latest mechanical systems, providing high quality in the detection and characterization of potential defects, flexibility and productivity rates. These automatic multi-technique systems are fully integrated, including all necessary tools to cover the full inspection process with just one operator using one computer.
Based on an industrial robot arm mounted on a linear track. The robot can perform Pulse Echo inspections with a range of end-effectors or TTU inspections with a yoke.
Based on two industrial robot arms mounted on linear tracks. The robots can work in cooperating mode to perform TTU inspections, or Pulse Echo inspections with either robot independently.
Taurus machines can be equipped with a high diversity of tools that allow improving the productivity and the flexibility in terms of inspection techniques and accessibility for a high diversity of parts (size and shape). All this tools are fully integrated in the system and can be managed by just one operator in a very easy and quick way.
Tecnatom TAURUS systems offer a wide range of Inspection Modules, depending on the parts that must be inspected: double curvature skins, edges, cut-outs, radii, T or Ω stringers, etc. They can be customized for each customer, including UT probes. There are also part teaching and defect marking modules available. All modules can be easily and quickly exchanged using an automatic tool changer.
Tecnatom’s FALCOM-3D laser module and software application allows automatically getting point clouds from part surfaces that are used for geometry reconstruction and trajectory correction. As any other inspection module, it can be quickly exchanged using the automatic tool changer.
Depending of the customer needs, Tecnatom can offer apart from the robot linear tracks, other kind of external axis such as turn table or motorized part tooling, which are included in the kinematic system and used as extra machine axes.
Tecnatom includes GENTRAY 3 software application for trajectory programming and geometry reconstruction for simulation and post-processing.
All automatic inspection systems include Tecnatom’s UT electronics SONIA, which are completely integrated with the machine and UT acquisition software and mounted over the robot arm.
Tecnatom’s InspectView Inspection Suite is integrated in the inspection system. This application allows controlling all inspection steps: machine control, trajectory generation, inspection planning, UT configuration, calibration, acquisition, analysis and report generation.
